At this writing, I found that sometimes Windows 10 would recognize the DVR, but for some reason the DWP software did not run automatically. As with Windows 7 and earlier versions, the situation (at least at the start) was that the operating system (OS) did not reliably recognize the DVR and upload from it. (I did not try Windows 8.)
